The New Forest Clipstone Village Project

Since October 2001 the people of Forest Town and Clipstone have joined together to form the New Forest Clipstone Village Project

The Board is made up of local residents, councillors, local professionals who live in the area.  The village company aims to create community business, jobs and training opportunities.

Any adult who lives or works in Forest Town and Clipstone can be a shareholder with a £1.00 share for life.  A shareholder will be able to attend General Meetings and vote for Board Members and any key decisions.

All information about the Company is totally open and available for access by the local community.

 

Reg Giles - Chair
Secretary of Garibaldi and Newlands Tenants and Residents Association who has been involved in voluntary work since the early 1960s.

Isabella Vint - Secretary
Forest Town resident of 25 years, she has also represented Forest Town as a councillor for 9 years.  She was also national chair for TPAS (Tenant Participation Advisory Service), a landlord/tenant organisation
Elaine Huckerby - Vice Chair
Headteacher of Garibaldi School, the comprehensive school which serves the Newlands, Forest Town and Clipstone communities.
Councillor Alistair Windeatt
An active member of the Forest Town community, Alistair spends his working life and spare time serving Forest Town as a director of Kingsway Community Project, and as a Forest Town West councillor. 
Maureen Tunney
The headteacher of John T. Rice Infant and Nursery School has taught in the Mansfield area for 26 yeards, and has been in her current post for 12 years
Peter Harrison - Treasurer
Currently serving as Assistant Director of Development and Property Service for LHA (Leicester Housing Association), Peter brings with him 28 years of business experience.
